ANOTHER pipeline explosion

category national | environment | press release author Friday July 23, 2010 03:52author by Eam - Republic of Ireland Report this post to the editors

NO Pipeline is EVER 100% SaFe

Pipeline Explosion in Dalian China, 165 sq miles stretch of the Yellow Sea, off the Northeastern city.
This oil was refined so it FLOATS on top, Not like the BP oil spill in the Gulf, IT was not refined so most of the oil stays under under the water.

It happens all a round the Earth, OIL + GAS PIPELINE EXPLOSIONS , But they're saying it can't here in IRELAND. Are we Really going to let this Happen here, During the past years of talking to as many people that will Talk to me, A senior pipeline engineer with over 30 years working with oil and gas pipelines stated, ( that if you have a pipeline your going to have an leak . (22%) the first year, and after 15 years (99.6%) Unreal that the oil and gas shareholders would put peoples lives at serious risk along with all the spills and pollution that goes with this madness of extracting fossil fuel. There is always the dangers of EXPLOSIONS. Check out this www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/21china-oil-spill-grows-off_n_n653852.htmls116801 or just lookup China, yellow sea oil explosion in Dalian,

Probably the same thing was the matter when people said Whiddy Island needed closer monitoring. They are in the oil pocket.
Our public representatives have inverted their roles. They now represent the corporate case to the electorate instead of defending the citizens' rights against private vested interests. The beauty being that they get paid twice.Once by the lobbyist to argue their commercial interests, and by the taxpayer to pretend to be public appointees. Its called legalised crime. The mafiosi make and enforce the laws. The honest people, like Pat O'Donnell, do time for doing the job we pay these crooks to renege on.Something 's gotta give. But it wont be pretty. They are deeply embedded, to use the Bush-men's term.

A Boeing 747 rushes along the runway during take off because it HAS to take off.

No room for taking chances.

They tend to operate more safely if the lessons of previous failures are incorporated into their structures and procedures. If safety is discarded for the sake of marginal performance on profits those who profit from the shortcut are usually well out of range of the eventual malfunction. Most airport authorities dont make a point of seeking out locations with high-rise residential sites at the business end of the runway.I am not a Luddite. That 747 doesn't HAVE to take off.Air traffic control and the pilot's sense of self-preservation inclines it to seek a little altitude rather than mimic the surrounding herbivores. The fishermen and their families whose lives have been fucked by BP do not have the financial leverage to relocate that Hayward has.Why should their homes and livelihoods be a laboratory for experiments in minimal safety?

Nothing is 100% safe.

More americans wil choke on chewing gum this year than will roast in oil fires.
More again will die falling down the stairs.
Not to mention the thousands who die in road accidents.

Far more than that will drop dead from heart attacks.

The press like to have a big fire or earthquake to sell their newspapers.

Just because shit happens and you die doesn't give the Irish Government the right to destroy our area in Erris. A raw gas pipeline well leaked in China killing all the people ( AND EVERY THING ELSE ) that lived in an area of 25sq klms, thats roughly 15 sq miles of the leaking pipeline. Making the area doomed for the next 100 years or more. With the people that did survive they were deadly sick, 1000s and thousands of people still have the effects of being exposed to H2S, and i's not pleasant . It's life threating every day they remain alive, suffering extreme pain an Illnesses due to being exposed. So You got to be shitin me that the people of Erris should suffer like they did in China, last report was over 3000 people died, That is roughly 1/3 of Erris and the wind and sea flow will kill many hundreds more ?? How would you like to be one of them . STOP THIS MADNESS N0W . Tell the ABP that they have to stop this project once and for all , and keep the PEOPLE and ENVIRONMENT SAFE ..Thank you

We Will NOT let our area of Erris Be Destroyed
