Irish National Party Website Hacked and Vandalised

category national | miscellaneous | press release author Sunday August 15, 2010 00:53author by Anonymous Report this post to the editors

INP website hacked.
Seems like an improvement to us
Seems like an improvement to us

Earlier today, we were able to gain full admin control over the website of the Irish National Party. http://eirenationalistmovement.yolasite.com/ This did not require any special computer skills, we simply exploited the stupidity of the site's administrator Andrew Walsh, who seems to have little or no grasp of even the most basic of online security measures.

We then proceeded to delete all of the contents of the website and replaced it with our own material. We did this for two reasons; firstly because we oppose the INP and the fascist, racist and nationalist ideology for which it stands, and second, for the lulz.

We hope that our actions today, while small in scale, may help to further discredit the INP and the pathetic scum who populate its ranks.

We have attached a screengrab of the frontpage we created, in case the Nazi scum get control of their website back before you get a chance to read this.

Anonymous.

So if we just ignore them, they'll go away?

"They're not really fascists and we don't need to take it all so seriously... "

is this a fair summation of your argument? Please elaborate, by all means.

If you keep treating them like the blokes who pulled the levers in the gas chambers, then the danger is they might act like that.

The guys name is Andrew Walsh. Apparently the yola site was a temporary one with a proper site planned to be up in a couple of weeks. Here is his facebook account. There is also a beebo with moreENM content on it but dont have a link for that.

Hacker/author here.

As a proud queer myself, the imagery was not intended to be homophobic; but merely to piss off the fash. Apologies if it was taken that way.

Also, yeah apparently the INP and ENP are two different kinds of scum.

the picture was leaked by an antifascist blogger from his facebook, where he openly promotes the above hacked website.

Good work on taking the site down. I think the homophobic imagery was a bit unnecessary though. No point in fighting one form of bigotry with another.

this is not the INP's website. This is the website of the two man operation the ENM, the leader can be seen here on the left with his partner.
