Reports are reaching Indymedia of a Coup d'Etat in Beshoffs. Rebels who have held the statelet for the last few days were attacked with fish slices after being caught off guard. They were allegedly on the batter all night. Rebels have now reinforced the plaice and are responding with an iron fish.

To all you doubters I wish to assure you this is a genuine organisation working for self determination for the people of Mercia. I recently went on a fact finding mission to the area on behalf of the ILP and discovered that this organisation, established recently, has more members than the CWI has in England!(current membership 63)

"Working for the 'Federation' is distinctly unpopular in this area" stated local Coventry representative Mr A. Capp "the people want a workers party not an empire of British cultists!"

However, I wish to announce that we in the SP have taken stock of the new situation facing us. The objective situation has decisively changed. New class battles impend in the coming period. We are in a period of sharp turns and sudden changes. Conditions are ripening for the most revolutionary period in human history - these will be the red 2000s. A new Party has been formed with the formal unification of the SP (Ireland) SP (England and Wales) and the International Socialists (Scotland). The Federation of International British Revolutionaries (FIBBERS-CWI) will represent the interests of all workers in the British Isles. The FIBBERS accepted that they had a long way to go in winning the support of all these workers, but with the coming crisis of British capitalism, it was inevitable that new layers of workers and youth would flock to their banner. As evidence of this FIBBERS spokesperson Peter Haddock pointed out that two schoolboys from Portmarnock Commmunity College had taken an anti-war leaflet from FIBBERS yoof rep, John Wayne last week.

Haddockalso took the opportunity to denounce the well known Scottish counter- revolutionary-bourgeois-nationalist-deviationist Tommmy Sheridan 'Its obvious Sheridan has sold out on the working class, thats why so many of them vote for his party. The worst thing is, we thought him and his SSP mates everything they know and what do they go off and do? Yep, build a mass party full of working class people and do really well in elections. Now you'd never find a section of the CWI doing that that sort of thing!'

Apllications to join the new party should be sent to Pater Taffeta, Federation House, London, (Reallly, reallly) Great Britain.

We declare our fraternal solidarity with the Republic of Beshoffs as long as they desist from straying into our fisheries at Ballingeary and Inchigeelagh.

The Republic of Muskerry retains its traditional borders from the village of Carrigrohane to the Kerry County Bounds. The area around Rathmore and Kilgarvan in the royalist Kingdom of Kerry remains in dispute.

We immediately demand the repatriation of all Muskerry hurlers from the Cork team. They will play in the all Muskerry finals between Ballingeary and Coolea next month. Bets can be placed at the counter in the Mills Inn or the petrol station in Kilnamartyra.

Newsflash: The IRSB (Independent Republic of Socialist Beshoffs) has declared the independence of Beshoffs, in a bold stab at the heart of the imperialist occupying forces.


For too long Beshoffites have been oppressed by Westmorlandia, which occupies the whole street on which the oppressed beshoffs lies. The Westmorlandian government is obviously an imperialist tool of the much larger Templebaria, which in an outrageous case of neo-imperialism is forcing it's boozy imperialist lifestyle and excess hordes of American Tourists into frequent invasions of Beshoffs.

I'm all for supporting national liberation when there is real ethnically based oppression going on, (however only as stepping stone to further class based liberation). However the people of mercia are no more being oppressed than any other part of england. I mean I support their struggle against the powers that be but I think their energies could be better spent on a longer term goal other than just creating another nation state.
