Jump To Comment: 1 2 3Was talking to Mary yesterday - her trial is in Ennis, people are encouraged to come down for this Wednesday june 16th 9.30 - when the thing kicks off proper.
3 people have contacted me today asking about transport to the trial.
I suggest that a mobile number be set up in Dublin for people heading down in cars and those looking for lifts. (People should state the date they are travelling).
If someone can paste up relevant train/bus times to Ennis or the Limerick train/Ennis bus connects that would be helpful.
If there isn't a better offer for this co-ordination, folks could use mine
087 918 4552.
If a similar based number could be set up for accomadtaion - crash space bilets on folks floors, a church hall would be ideal or a list of cheap bed & breakfasts in Ennis would be good.
DCW/PSP printed 1,000 leaflets today drawn from Mary's with email and website contacts, we will be distributing them from our info satll at the Mark Thomas gig (24 euro) this Sunday night at the Olympia and at the Halliburtons gig Whelans on Tuesday (12 euro).
Damien Moran will be conducting a daily solidarity vigil in Dublin outside the Dail 11am-1pm each day of Mary's trial.
The early train from Heuston leaves platform 2 at 7.10am, gets to Limerick at 9.25am. One change there and it leaves Limerick at 9.30am and arrives in Ennis at 10.15 am.
There is a late train if people are heading down the night before. It leaves Heuston at 9pm but has two changes. Including what seems to be an overnight stop in Limerick. It arrives in Limerick at 11.37pm, departs from there at 6am and gets to Ennis at 6.45am.
( Public transport - my arse! )
Bus Eireann have a bus leaving Busarus in Dublin at 7am but it doesn't get to Ennis ( via Galway ) til 12.10. The late bus, for overnighters, leaves Busarus at 18.30 and arrives in Ennis Bus Station at 00.44 with a journey time of 6 hours and 14 minutes and two ( count them ) changes!
The two links will get you more details.
Best of Luck on the day, can't be there physically, but will be there in spirit.
