January 28, 2009: In a surprise move, President cyber-Cheney nominates Paul Wolfowitz to head the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Even though the World Bank president has no background in either science or aviation, cyber-Cheney argues that Wolfowitz is the best candidate to spearhead NASA’s proposed multi-trillion dollar mission to Mars: “I’m sure Paul will bring the same competence and realism to this job that he has to every other task his country has given him,” cyber-Cheney’s vocal synthesizer tells reporters.
Schröder backs Wolfowitz for World Bank

Schröder said the nominee’s critics would be “perhaps positively surprised” by Wolfowitz’s future performance.
Germany followed Britain in expressing high-level support for the US candidate.
