Absolutely right on. Huge similarities happening in Ireland.
The IAWM and NGO s in Ireland all claiming to be anti war have undermined the movement for troops out of Shannon on many fronts.

The above article addresses the issue of the insane need of such groups to fail ie by having government ministers and trade unionists ( all fig leafs ) speaking at rallys all claiming to be antiwar but carry on buisiness as usual next day.

Not supporting militant direct action is another favourite.

They are tools of the imperialists they pretend to be against.

But a letter signed by 6 individuals, only one of whom gives a surname which could well be a pseudonym (while some of the monikers are obviously pseudonyms) isn't exactly big news. I mean several organisations on the left consistently put forward this argument and each and every one of their articles on the war is more representative than this article.

In short, okay sentiments, but the authors have got completely carried away by the import of what they're saying. A lot of people have been saying this for a long time.

Maybe you should think about getting more than 6 people in a country of 200 million to sign your joint statements.
