vocal soundscape from Dublin.

On March 19th 2005, thousands of people took to the streets of Dublin to protest against Ireland's complicity in the illegal war on Iraq.

Removed from sloganeering leaders of Parties, were the Hammer Bloc, a selection of Irish anarchists who specifically wanted to show solidarity with the PitStop Ploughshares who, thi Tuesday (Nov 2, 2005) begin the second week of their second trial for damaging a US navy plane at Shannon airport in February 3rd, 2003.

The diverse and inclusive group sported green white and orange inflatable hammers (the colours of the Irish flag), such as one an inflatable hammer used by one of the PitStop 5.

Shannon Airport is the main transit stop-off point for US military coming to and from Iraq, and is also used in 'extraordinary renditions' - the kidnapping of people for the purposes of torture.

Good craic was had, as is always the case with anything to do with the Dublin Catholic Worker.

Technical note:
lower version for modems to follow in comments, and will be segmented into 4+16 mins. The last ten minutes in hindsight, are completely unnecessary, and broadband/FM users may want to delete it anyway. This section won't appear on the modem versions to follow.
