158 academics have signed a letter calling for NATO to admit Ukraine. But they don't address the crucial question of when Ukraine should be admitted: now, or once the war is over. Neither option is straightforward.

Galway continues to protest in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples !.

Ad nauseam v ad infinitum, who shall prevail ?.

Same as last Saturday and the previous Saturday, Galway IPSC activists with outrage unattenuated at Israel's visitation of evil and wanton destruction on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon continued their protest today outside Lynch's castle for the now standard six hours - it was just another day of the good, bad and ugly :
From L to R; Tom from Sligo, James from Athlone and .... from Iran !.
From L to R; Tom from Sligo, James from Athlone and .... from Iran !.

the former evidenced by a wind-of -change by the name of James who, recently, saw active service in Palestine as an International Solidarity Movement activist and who's now, thank the lord bejaysus, back in Galway to continue his studies at NUIGalway. the latter two negatives witnessed by an Israeli couple, the female of which ventured to my face that; "The only good Palestinian is a dead one," so the vicious Israeli psychopathology continues ad nauseam, so our protests, as an antidote to this, continues, ad infinitum.

We'll be outside Lynch's castle again next Saturday from noon 'til 6PM. Anyone whos cares not to stand idly by and allow the sickos to prevail is welcome to join us?.

How about protesting for sexual equality, women's rights, gay rights, freedom of choice in the abortion issue? These are rights and virtues upheld, or at least respected, within the state of Israel. But can the same be said about the regime in Teheran who supports those terrorists in the Lebanon, and acts as their ideological teacher?

Gay rights, gender equality and a woman's right to choose are luxuries compared to the right to live as a people. A right which Israel has consistently denied the Palestinians since the 1948 Nakhba. Tehran has an appalling record on gay rights, womens rights etc, it makes discraceful use of anti semitic rhetoric too, but even Iranian Jews enjoy better freedoms and representation in Iran than palestinians do under the Israeli jackboot.
