Obama's Blood Lust

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Wednesday January 21, 2009 19:55author by Miriam Report this post to the editors

The change you will not see - killing business as usual

As if Obama's disgusting and complicit silence about the slaughter in Gaza while it was ongoing were not enough, news is emerging that the great black hope of America will be nothing if not more ruthless than his predecessor. Here's a quote from one of his 'Homeland Security' statements:

"Ensure that our military becomes more stealthy, agile, and lethal in its ability to capture or kill terrorists. Bolster our military's ability to speak different languages, navigate different cultures, and coordinate complex missions with our civilian agencies."

Homeland Security? More like 'Murder Abroad'.

New tone? New era? Not sacrificng our principles in the name of security? This guy is as intent on world-wide plunder and murder as Bush ever was. His inauguration speech sounded as if he believes he is the emperor of the world. Where do US presidents finally get off the idea that any other country is remotely interested in being 'led' by them? We just want them to go home and behave themselves. Their country is not and never was a shining example to us all - at least not since the Native American peoples had the run of the place. No mention of them in his speech, of course.

All the details of his Homeland Security policies here:
