Blair's Dublin Book Launch735

category national | anti-war / imperialism | news report author Saturday August 28, 2010 10:09author by John Ardenauthor email margarettadarcy at gmail dot com Report this post to the editors

No rebranding for war-criminal Blair!

Twenty-six creative artists in various disciplines ask
Eason's and RTE's Late Late Show not to facilitate Mr Blair's
promotion of his autobiographical book and the blood-money of his
royalties that he proposes to pass on to military charity.

Brian Cowen has stated that creative people have a duty to uphold 'Brand
Ireland.' We feel the best way to fulfil the duty would be to ensure
the cancellation of this notorious war-criminal's visit, so that
Ireland cannot be turned into a launch-pad to reinvent Brand Blair as
good-guy and peace-maker. (Late Late appearance, Sept. 3rd; Eason's
book-signing, O'Connell Street, Dublin, 11 am Sept 4th.)

I would strongly advise everyone to stay well clear of this event!!! Anyone attending Blair's book signing are giving a clear signal that they support British rule in Ireland and in addition also support the British imperialist army's occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Tony Blair is responsible for the deaths of many young men and women including those in his own army (who he evidently feels guilty about - given all proceeds from the sale of his book are going to the British Legion). Anyone attending this book signing is supporting a man that ordered and stood by and watched countless young people die for absolutely nothing - whilst he lives, applauded by the enemies of peace and utter gobshites!

Stay clear of this event, please!!!

But why stay away Jacqueline when we can attend and make things awkward for him?
Ask him awkward questions.Point out truths. Confront him. Make it difficult for him. Perhaps even make some of the sheep who want to fawn over him realise what he really is. Rather than stay away and do nothing, we should take the bull by the horns and show him the contempt he is due face to face.
