The one glaring undeniable fact regarding the Bush administration is the fact that they have failed in ALL their endeavours – in other words they have done nothing right. The latest display of neo-con ineptitudes by John Bolton and Condoleezza Rice regarding their tactical inaction during the conflict in South Lebanon reveals the essential ideology/philosophy of the neo-cons – not only [to], ‘GIVE WAR A CHANCE; but also, WAR IS THE ANSWER’! Chavez : "As Chomsky says here clearly and in depth, the American empire is doing all it can to consolidate its hegemonic system of domination, and we cannot allow them to do that. We cannot allow world dictatorship to be consolidated. The world tyrant’s statement -- cynical, hypocritical, full of this imperial hypocrisy, from the need they have to control everything -- they say they want to impose a democratic model, but that's their democratic model. It's the false democracy of elites, and I would say a very original democracy that's imposed by weapons and bombs and firing weapons. What a strange democracy. Aristotle might not recognize it, or others who are at the root of democracy. What type of democracy do you impose with marines and bombs?" read full story / add a comment

According to this BBC report , after the events of 9/11 , US deputy Secretary of State ,Richard Armitage , threatened President Musharraf of Pakistan saying that his country would be bombed “back to the stone age” unless it backed George Bush’s War on Terror. The Pakistani dictator was surely not being over-sensitive when he described Armitage 's remarks as "very rude".

A well-known method of subjugation utilised by conquerors and rulers alike is, “divide and conquer”; this strategy applies equally in times of war and peace. It may surprise many but this method remains the principal means of social control in today’s western societies. The primary divisive structure today is the (separate, ‘closed-door’) nuclear family and the principal divided unit is the psychically isolated, competitive individual. [It should be noted that the ‘individual’, as distinct from the group, is a relatively recent social creation.] read full story / add a comment

An Irish farmer has used the Ryder Cup and the endless streams of choppered in VIP's to make a general point on peace. The farmer describes how 'as the rich and powerful politicians chopper their way to the Ryder Cup, they might have to avert their gaze from my little farm next door.' Why? Because on this small area of farm land beside the K-Club venue he has made a huge CND style peace symbol encircled with a 'peace on earth' slogan. Weird or what? Photos are at the following link. read full story / add a comment

From a fringe that once made a name for itself distributing truth dollars to more succesfully pushing viral videos on the youtubed and googled vidiot ciruit, 9-11 conspiracy theories have taken on a fast and furious popular growth in recent months. The successive releases of Loose Change, Terror Storm and a host of less competent productions has seen the 9-11 truth types quickly come to accumulate a louder and louder voice within the international anti-war community. read full story / add a comment
