Disturbing viewing ...yes., I agree with the last comment.
But perhaps it's time some of us were disturbed?

why the shannon 5 case is important, without it there is no debate on irish logistical military support for U.S.

This is what the americans have been doing for many years, genocide and terrorism!

Just in case anyone is in doubt as to what happens in war and what the USA, UK and others are doing one should take a look at these pictures and those in the URL. All these victims are real people. Is this progress?

It's always amazing how the likes of politicians like Bush and Blair can go on and on about the sancity of life and peace and yet they started and financed this war through taxes and are directly responsible along with many others in power with them as well as those in the military.

Mind you it applies to all wars. So often war is glorified and described in words and languages that skips around what it is all about and tends to use phrases that appeal to 'toughness' and the whole male macho psychic in the process co-opting through social conformity the thinking of many people.

If you are not emotionally affected by the horror of war, you need to see a psychiatrist.

It is easy to be cavalier about war if you've never been in one. Chickenhawks like Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, and Rumsfeld all avoided going to war.

Remember Bush with his "Bring 'em on!" remark? Troops on the ground were shocked and angry about it because the provocation could only increase the danger for them. Bush never thought of that of course.

The only thing that war ever gave us is destruction and misery, and it doesn't solve problems, it creates them.

"The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations." -David Friedman
