Jump To Comment: 1 2It's about time a HOPI leader urged the ending of all HOPI alingment with pro US groups. It is certainly overdue but when I hear 'should ' instead of 'definitely will not', I wonder if this is not simply a fop to those who have claimed for a long time that HOPI is just another string in the bow of the 'US imperialism' and it's psychological build up to a war against the Islamic Republic of Iran. We will judge HOPI by how it acts, not what it proclaims.
The language of 'Should' is often linked with a 'But' reason for not doing something. At this time of year we are all familiar with people who say they should give up smoking or some other bad habit but cannot for one reason or another. They know they should but they can't and they want to be seen to be trying because they are embarassed by the public perception of their actions.
Never mind 'Should' stop standing beside pro US groups, just stop it!
And now we have HOPI attacking Channel 4 for planning to broadcast a statement from the Iranian president over the Christmas period. Say's all about HOPI, opposed to freedom of speech .They are no more than CIA hacks. A conduit for neo-con propaganda.
