As Usual, Not much publicity at all on the MSM about this date..Obviously a date and a sentiment the establishment would like us to forget, but in light of the recent austerity measures both here and in Britain and the rise of the conservatives again as a force to be reckoned with in British politics, Here at indy, we think this event needs to be remembered. We kinda like the idea of somebody wiping out the whole rotten establishment in one fell swoop read full story / add a comment

Even if listeners to the home service of wireless RTE yesterday were the first to know, by now there's no inside knowledge or shame attached to the FF/Green coalition's latest solution for Ireland's ills. Yep. We're talking smegma. Of course none of the commercial press titles or paid journalists or even esteemed opposition deputies or presidential candidates will utter the word................ But free smegma is there for the having. read full story / add a comment

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is to “stage” a protest against budget cuts in Dublin on November 27th. For anyone keeping an eye on the unions’ shenanigans the word “stage” is quite appropriate – perhaps “stage-manage” would be even better. The events of the student march on Wednesday the 3rd of November were a turning point in the attitude of the state towards the general populace. As we look down the barrel of what is likely to be the harshest budget in the history of the country, the Government can no longer contain the anger of the Irish people. What happened on Wednesday was proof of this. read full story / add a comment
