offsite link Is ?Man the Hunter? a Myth? Tue Nov 05, 2024 17:30 | Noah Carl
A paper published last year claimed to debunk the "myth" of man the hunter, arguing that women play an "instrumental role" in hunting in traditional societies. The only problem is that the paper appears to be flawed.

Keir Starmer's Labour has taken the art of political lying to a whole new level, says Nick Timothy. Denial after denial that it would raise taxes before the biggest tax-raising Budget in history. Trust is gone.

offsite link Science Shock: U.K. Met Office is ?Inventing? Temperature Data from 100 Non-Existent Stations Tue Nov 05, 2024 09:00 | Chris Morrison
Shocking evidence has emerged that points to the U.K. Met Office inventing temperature data from over 100 non-existent weather stations. One such 'ghost' station, Dungeness, closed in 1986 but still reports "observations".

Here is the TSV on Sunday. We are told that destruction will not happen in this valley anymore, we are told that our heritage is safe but my walk yesterday shows that things have simply got worse.
Please become involved and stop the rape of our old green land. It is reaching appoint that soon it will be too late. We look set to lose all our old mysterious, wild and fallow places.

The Minister for the Environment Mr. John Gormley was today urged to immediately suspend the licence he granted earlier in the autumn to the Ward Union Stag Hunt following a serious incident last Friday when a deer being hunted by the Ward Union was chased onto the main road between Ashbourne and Slane. The deer, which was hit by an on-coming Mercedes, was seriously injured and had to be put down at the scene. It had been seen exiting Seamus Dardis’s farm having begun its chase from Huntsman Pat Coyles premises. read full story / add a comment

END the pathetic conditions for over 20 animals, including a Pregnant donkey in FUNTASIA’s noisy rooftop Petting Farm.
A noisy amusement and casino establishment in Bettystown has airlifted (by CHERRYPICKER) over 20 animals onto its roof in an effort to attract more clientele to its arcade and boost profits at 3 euro a head.
Funtasia last week got many of these animals from Jesse Callaghan, a farmer in Lunderstown, Duleek to use as a spectacle for the roof farm on their two story building. Chicken wire, plywood and a fully cemented roof is all that was provided by way of accommodation for a variety of animals including:
A pregnant Donkey in poor condition.... read full story / add a comment
